Clean, bright modern living space with fresh indoor air quality

Indoor Air Quality Services

Breathe cleaner, healthier air at home and at work. Professional air purification, ventilation, and humidity control solutions for properties across the GTA.

The Air Inside Your Building Matters

Most people do not realize that the air inside their home or office can be significantly more polluted than the air outside. Dust, allergens, mould spores, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), bacteria, and viruses circulate through your HVAC system and accumulate over time.

Complete Air Solutions offers a full range of indoor air quality products and services designed to work with your existing heating and cooling system. From whole-home air purifiers and humidifiers to HRV ventilation systems and UV germicidal lights, we have solutions for every air quality concern and budget.

For commercial clients, we design ventilation and filtration systems that meet building codes, improve employee wellness, and create a better experience for customers and visitors. Our commercial solutions are especially important for medical offices, dental clinics, restaurants, and schools where air quality directly impacts health and safety.

Air Quality Solutions

Targeted products and systems to address every indoor air quality concern.

Whole-Home Air Purifiers

Installed directly into your HVAC ductwork, whole-home air purifiers remove up to 99.97% of airborne particles including dust, pollen, pet dander, mould spores, and bacteria. Far more effective than portable room units.

Humidifiers & Dehumidifiers

Ontario winters bring extremely dry indoor air, while summers can mean excess humidity. Whole-home humidifiers and dehumidifiers maintain optimal 30 to 50% relative humidity year-round for comfort and health.

HRV & ERV Ventilation Systems

Heat Recovery Ventilators (HRV) and Energy Recovery Ventilators (ERV) bring fresh outdoor air into your home while recovering heat energy from the stale air being exhausted. Essential for modern, tightly sealed homes.

UV Germicidal Lights

UV-C germicidal lamps installed inside your ductwork or near the evaporator coil neutralize bacteria, viruses, and mould. Proven technology used in hospitals, now available for residential and commercial HVAC systems.

HEPA Filtration Systems

Hospital-grade HEPA filters capture 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 microns. Ideal for allergy and asthma sufferers, homes with pets, or anyone who wants the cleanest possible indoor air.

Commercial Ventilation & Exhaust

Custom ventilation solutions for offices, medical facilities, restaurants, and industrial spaces. Proper commercial ventilation improves worker productivity, meets building codes, and creates a healthier environment.

Professional Duct Cleaning

Thorough duct cleaning to remove accumulated dust, allergens, pet dander, and debris from your entire ductwork system. Improves airflow, reduces strain on your HVAC equipment, and dramatically improves the air circulating through your home or business.

Signs You Need Better Indoor Air Quality

If you notice any of the following in your home or workplace, it may be time for a professional air quality assessment.

  • Persistent allergies or asthma symptoms indoors
  • Excessive dust on surfaces despite regular cleaning
  • Musty or stale odours that linger
  • Condensation on windows
  • Dry skin, eyes, or throat in winter
  • Frequent respiratory infections among household members

Indoor Air Quality FAQs

Everything you need to know about improving the air you breathe.

Why is indoor air quality important?

The average Canadian spends over 90% of their time indoors, where air can be 2 to 5 times more polluted than outdoor air. Poor indoor air quality contributes to allergies, asthma, headaches, fatigue, and respiratory infections. In commercial settings, poor air quality reduces employee productivity and increases sick days. Improving your indoor air quality is one of the most impactful investments you can make in your health and comfort.

What is an HRV and do I need one?

A Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV) is a mechanical ventilation system that exchanges stale indoor air with fresh outdoor air while recovering up to 80% of the heat energy. In Ontario, HRVs are especially important in newer, energy-efficient homes that are sealed tightly. Without mechanical ventilation, these homes can accumulate excess moisture, CO2, VOCs, and other indoor pollutants. If your windows fog up in winter or your home feels stuffy, an HRV can make a significant difference.

How effective are UV germicidal lights in HVAC systems?

UV-C germicidal lights are highly effective at neutralizing biological contaminants. When installed near the evaporator coil or in the return air duct, they reduce mould, bacteria, and viruses by up to 99.9% with continuous exposure. They also keep the evaporator coil clean, which improves system efficiency. UV lights are a low-maintenance solution, typically requiring only an annual bulb replacement.

Can you improve air quality in a commercial building?

Absolutely. We design and install commercial air quality solutions including upgraded filtration (MERV 13+), UV germicidal systems, ERV ventilation, and CO2 monitoring for demand-controlled ventilation. For medical and dental facilities, we implement HEPA filtration and negative pressure rooms. Every solution is tailored to your building's specific requirements and occupancy patterns.

How do I know if my home has poor air quality?

Common signs include persistent dust buildup despite regular cleaning, musty or stale odours, condensation on windows, family members experiencing allergy symptoms indoors, visible mould growth, or stuffy and uncomfortable rooms. We offer indoor air quality assessments that measure particulate levels, humidity, CO2, and ventilation rates to identify specific issues and recommend targeted solutions.
